The University of Valladolid
Language Centre, though an agreement signed with the Cervantes
Institute, is an official examining centre for the Diploma
in Spanish as a Foreign Language (D.E.L.E.), the only official
certificate which is internationally recognised, and which
is issued by the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and
Sport. This certificate provides official recognition of the
degree of competence and proficiency in the Spanish language,
and is highly recommendable for anyone involved in a Spanish-speaking
work environment or those who wish to undertake university
studies in Spain.
The University of Valladolid Language
Centre organises a course specifically aimed at preparing
for these examinations.

- Number of hours: 60 hours (10 hours per week in the
afternoon).
- Duration: The course lasts 6 weeks prior to the official
examination dates.
