I. From
Barajas Airport in Madrid.
A. An underground
railway line runs from Barajas Airport in Madrid to the train
and coach stations. A map of the underground system can be
seen by visiting the website: www.metromadrid.es(see"plano").
Line 8 (pink) takes you to “Nuevos Ministerios”.
From there you can take:
a) Line 10 (dark blue, towards
Fuencarral) which takes you to “Chamartín”
train station. Ten trains run every day between Madrid and
Valladolid. For further information you can visit the RENFE
(Spanish National Railway Network) website: www.renfe.es
b) Line 6 (grey, circular line)
towards Méndez Álvaro takes you to the Estación
Sur de Autobuses coach station, in calle Méndez Álvaro.
The coach company which runs the service between Valladolid
and Madrid is ALSA. Coaches run approximately every hour.

B. You can take
a taxi from the airport to “Chamartín”
train station or “Méndez Álvaro”
coach station. The fare varies between 25 and 35 Euros depending
on the traffic.
C.The Language
Centre offers a pick-up service from Barajas Airport in Madrid.
You will be met at the airport and taken to Méndez
Álvaro coach station. Consult prices with the Language

II. From Villanubla Airport
in Valladolid.
Valladolid Airport (Villanubla)
offers daily flights to and from Paris, Barcelona, Brusels
and London. The airport is 15 minutes from the city centre.
